| Saturday 6th March 2004 - 2:30pm-5:30pm "Irish Music for the Highland Bagpipe" A Workshop by Terry Tully Many Irish tunes need a distinctive and extended technique when performed on the Highland Bagpipe. Some differences between the performance of Irish and Scottish music will be explained and demonstrated with an introduction to transposition. Previous experience of playing Irish music on the bagpipe is not required.
