| Saturday 22nd November 2003 - 2:00pm-5:30pm "Piobaireachd for Beginners" A Workshop by Norman Dodds Piobaireachd, or pipe music, is the means by which the Highland Bagpipe has been preserved in its present form. Those wishing to enrol for this course do not need any knowledge of the subject but will be expected to be able to play to a competition style march standard and capable of performing a taorluath accurately. A further two sessions will be held in the second semester and by the end of all four sessions participants should be capable of playing a complete piobaireachd.
